Blues Inc. Shipping Policy

 

Blues Inc. ships domestically and internationally via trusted carriers. Please review the details below before placing your order. Shipping timelines are estimates only. Inclement weather, customs clearance delays, and other unforeseen circumstances may affect delivery times. Blues Inc. is not responsible for delays beyond our control.

 

Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days before shipment. Business days are Monday–Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays.

Domestic Shipping

Shipping rates vary based on order weight, packaging, destination, and shipping method. The following methods are available for domestic orders:

       UPS Ground – Estimated 3–5 Business Days

       FedEx Ground – Estimated 3–5 Business Days

       FedEx One Rate 2Day – Estimated 2 Business Days

       FedEx Priority Overnight – Estimated Next Business Day by 12:00 PM

International Shipping

The following methods are available for international orders:

       UPS Worldwide Saver – Estimated 2–3 Business Days

       UPS Worldwide Expedited – Estimated 3–5 Business Days

       FedEx International Priority – Estimated 2–3 Business Days

       FedEx International Economy – Estimated 4–5 Business Days

       FedEx International Connect Plus – Estimated 7–10 Business Days

 

Every order shipped outside of the United States will be accompanied by a Commercial Invoice containing the information necessary to clear customs at the destination country.

Duties, Taxes & Additional Fees

Blues Inc. is not responsible for duties, taxes, or related charges. These fees are the sole responsibility of the recipient. Please familiarize yourself with your country’s import policies before placing an order. You may do so by contacting your country’s customs office. Additional charges may include:

       VAT (Value-Added Tax)

       GST (Goods and Services Tax)

       Customs duties

       Brokerage fees

       Disbursement fees

 

Transportation companies will contact the recipient to collect any amounts due prior to delivery.

Courier Processing Fees: FedEx and UPS charge approximately 2–3% of the total duty and tax advanced, or a minimum charge between $7–$21 USD. These are estimates and vary by country.

EU Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer located in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days from the date you receive your order, without providing any reason, in accordance with EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU and EU Directive 2023/2673.

If the final day of the period falls on a weekend or a public holiday, the deadline is extended to the very next business day.

The cost of return shipping is the sole responsibility of the customer.

Import VAT

European Union VAT

Effective July 1, 2021, Value-Added Tax (VAT) is charged on all commercial goods imported into the EU, regardless of value. VAT will be collected prior to delivery by the customs declarant (i.e., FedEx, UPS, or DHL). For additional information, please visit:

United Kingdom VAT

Orders of £135 or less: As an overseas seller, Blues Inc. is required to charge VAT at checkout for shipments totaling £135 or less sent directly to UK consumers (private individuals and non-VAT registered businesses). Exemptions are available for some businesses. If you are exempt, please contact customer support with your VAT registration number and EORI number.

Orders greater than £135: Postponed VAT Accounting (PVA), introduced by HM Treasury, enables UK VAT-registered importers to account for import VAT on their regular VAT return. Please verify current exemptions and contact customer support to provide your VAT registration number and EORI number.

Non-VAT registered businesses: VAT will be collected prior to delivery by the customs declarant (i.e., FedEx, UPS, or DHL).

Export Compliance

Denied Parties

Blues Inc. complies fully with U.S. export regulations. Our products may not be exported or re-exported to anyone on the U.S. Treasury Department’s list of Specially Designated Nationals, the U.S. Department of Commerce Denied Person’s List, or the Entity List, without the required authorization.

Prohibited Destinations

U.S. export regulations restrict shipments to certain destinations without a U.S. Government license. Complete embargoes are currently in place for the following countries: Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria.

Shipping Options & Special Requests

Using Your Own Logistics Provider

If you wish to use your own logistics service provider, please contact customer support before placing your order. We will require your account number. Please note that some providers may require authorization from the account holder before allowing the account to be used.

Signature Upon Delivery

Orders are shipped without a signature requirement by default. If you require a signature upon delivery, please contact customer support before placing your order.

Saturday Delivery

Logistics service providers do not typically deliver on Saturdays unless it is requested in advance. Additional fees may apply.

PO Box Deliveries

FedEx and UPS do not deliver to PO Boxes. For domestic orders only, if your shipping address is a PO Box, we will ship via USPS.
